About Anxiety

Anxiety is an emotion characterized by feelings of uneasiness, nervousness, or dread, usually about a situation or event that may take place in the future, whether real or imagined. It is generally accompanied by worried or fearful thoughts and physical sensations such as muscle tension, a "knot in the pit of your stomach," and increased pulse rate.

I offer a variety of techniques to help you decrease your anxiety, including identifying thoughts that trigger your anxiety and learning how to dispute them, as well as using breathing and mindfulness skills to feel calmer and centered in the present moment.
